Library Make-Over! | The Highland School library is looking brighter and more inviting these days, thanks to the dedicated parent volunteers who came to our rescue when our library clerk left in early January. | Parking Lot Safety | Our parking lot becomes congested during both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times, so we try to assign several staff members and volunteers to help keep it safe for children. | RUSD students learn the power of one | After hearing about the devastating loss caused by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, RUSD students and staff immediately started working to help those affected by this tragedy. With each one contributing just one small amount, the District has raised close to $14,000 so far for the relief effort.

| RUSD earns multi-million dollar math grant | RCC and UCR professors and district math specialists will be supporting teachers and students through the Pythagoras Project, a mathematics grant valued at more than 2.2 million dollars.
